Cinnamon Rolls
ROLLS
1/4 cup Butter; melted
1/4 cup Water
1/2 pkg Instant vanilla pudding (1/2 of a 3.4oz. box)
1 cup Milk
1 Eggs; beaten
1 tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
4 cups Bread flour
2 1/2 tsp Yeast
FILLING
1/2 cup Butter; softened
1 cup Brown sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
FROSTING
4 oz Cream cheese; softened
1/4 cup Butter; softened
1 1/2 cups Confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 tsp Milk
Rolls: Place ingredients in machine following the specifications of that
particular machine. Set for dough cycle. After complete on dough cycle, remove
from machine roll out to 17 x 10 (approx) rectangle.
Filling: Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.
Spread softened butter over dough. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon mixture
over top. Roll tightly from long end, pinching edges closed when completely
rolled. Slice rolled dough into 1/2-inch slices (or larger if a larger bun
is preferred). Place into greased cake pans. ( I use 3 - 9-inch pans ) I
usually get 19 - 20 buns from this. Let rise until doubled.
Bake at 350 for 15 - 20 minutes, until golden. Do not overbake.
Frosting: Spread on very warm rolls
Cinnamon Sunrise Bread
1 1/8 c. water
3 1/3 c. white bread flour
1 1/2 T. dry milk
3 T. brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. pecan chopped (bits)
1 1/2 tsp yeast (fast rise) or 2 tsp active dry yeast
Process per you bread machine directions. You kitchen will smell wonderful!
Cinnamon Sunrise
Makes one 1.5 pound loaf
1 1/8 cups water
1/4 cup butter
3 1/3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tablespoons dry milk
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
2 teaspoons yeast (or 1 1/2 teaspoons fast rise)
Put ingredients in according to your bread machine directions.
For my West Bend:
1. add water
2. add butter or margarine
3. add dry ingredients and push some into corners of pan
4. make well- add yeast
NOTES : This is an easy recipe to make using bread machine. Tastes great,
freezes well.
