Honey Oatmeal
Bread
Makes a 1 1/2 lb. loaf
2 1/2 teaspoons dry granulated yeast
2 cups bread flour
1 cup oatmeal (I use old-fashioned)
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup honey
1 Tablespoon vegetable or canola oil
1 cup water
Place ingredients into bread machine according to your bread machine's
instructions.
Process either on regular or dough cycle. If processing on regular cycle,
sprinkle top of bread with a small amount of oats during the second rising.If
using dough cycle, when cycle is done, remove dough from machine, place in
a greased loaf pan, let rise approximately 30-44 minutes in a warm place
until doubled. Sprinkle top of loaf with a small amount of oats, then bake
in an oven preheated to 374 for 35 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
Honey Rye and Wheat Bread with Raisins - Bread Machine
1 cup water
1/4 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons raisins
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/4 cups unbleached flour
3/4 cup rye flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
5 tablespoons wheat gluten
1 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
Combine water, oil, honey, raisins and brown sugar in a blender; blend until
almost smooth, about 2 minutes. Place raisin mixture and dry ingredients
in bread machine pan, according to your machine's directions. Bake on whole
wheat setting. Makes one 2-lb. Loaf
Honey Sesame Bread
Makes 1-1/2 pound loaf
1 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon dried buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups bread flour
3 tablespoons wheat bran
1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
Place ingredients in bread machine pan in the order suggested by the
manufacturer.
Select Basic Bread cycle.
