Olive Oil Garlic
Bread

2 1/4 tsp yeast
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup garlic flavored olive oil
Place all ingredients in machine and push start!
To make Garlic Olive Oil:
1/3 cup peeled garlic cloves, slightly crushed
1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
To make the garlic olive oil, heat the extra-virgin olive oil in a small,
heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. When the oil begins to smoke, remove
from heat immediately and let cool for 10 minutes. Add the prepared garlic
cloves. Let steep for at least six hours in the refrigerator. Remove garlic
cloves from oil and discard.
One Hundred Percent Whole Wheat Bread

(Makes 1 1/2 pound loaf)
2 1/4 tsp dry yeast
3 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp nonfat powdered milk
1 Tbsp vital wheat gluten
3 Tbsp grated orange zest (optional)
3/4 tsp salt
3 Tbsp minced prunes (optional)
1 1/4 cups water
Add ingredients according to your machine specs & process using whole
wheat cycle.
Per 1 ounce serving: 73 calories; 0.4 g fat; 0.1 mg cholesterol; 5% CFF
Orange-Currant Bread
Makes a 1 1/2 lb loaf
Juice of 1 orange plus water to make 1 1/4 cups
1 Tablespoon oil
1 Tablespoon sucanat (heaping)
1 teaspoon vanilla
grated rind of 1 (organic) orange
1 1/2 cups white bread flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
1/2 cup dried currants
Put ingredients into bread machine in the order preferred by the manufacturer.
I used the "regular" setting (rather than whole wheat), and did not bother
with the "fruit and nut" setting because the currants are so small and light.

1 lb. loaf:
3/4 cup water
2 teaspoons margarine, soft
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1/2 cup rye flour
1 Tablespoon dry milk
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon caraway seed
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast -- bread machine type
Remove bread pan; attach kneading blade.
Place all ingredients in bread pan in order listed.
Insert bread pan, close lid and plug in.
Select bread type (Oster): Press select until the number 1 is displayed for
a 1 pound loaf.
Press start. Bread will be done baking in the number of hours indicated.
