2002 Hermes House Edition, but it is essentially the very same book)! Recipes
are very easy to follow (no impossible to find ingredients), and directions
are concise. I have yet to have a recipe turn out anything but a wonderful,
tasty loaf of bread... and the aroma is to die for!!! I love the numerous
photographs too! Buy this book if you are thinking of buying ANY breadmachine

Whole Wheat Raisin
Nut Cinnamon Bread
1 1/2 teaspoon Yeast
2 cups Whole Wheat flour
2 cups White bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Dry Milk
2 tablespoons Butter
1 1/4 cups plus 2 tablespoons warm water
Add ingredients to bread machine in order given.
5 Minutes before the end of the second kneading add the following:
1/2 cup Raisins
1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts
Remove baked bread from pan and cool on wire rack.

2/3 cup water
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp honey
1/3 tsp salt
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup bread flour
1 tsp yeast
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup chopped nuts, optional
Medium Loaf
1 cup water
1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup oats
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cup bread flour
1 1/2 tsp yeast
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts; optional
Large Loaf
1 1/3 cup water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp honey
2/3 tsp salt
1 cup oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cup bread flour
2 tsp yeast
2/3 cup raisins
2/3 cup chopped nuts; optional
Put all ingredients EXCEPT raisins and nuts* into your bread machine as suggested
by manufacturer. Use Raisin Bread Cycle. At the BEEP add raisins and nuts.
*If using National/Panasonic add raisins and nuts following first kneading.
*If using Maxim or Mister Loaf add raisins and nuts at the beginning.
Author's Note: A great combination of whole wheat, oatmeal and raisins.
